With a grant from PA’s Department of Environmental Protection, Blair Township retrofitted an existing storm water detention basin along Forsht Drive at Edgewood Drive to mitigate storm water-driven pollutants from entering downstream waterways and adding to pollution locally and, ultimately, in the Chesapeake Bay. An onsite presentation of this “Best Management Practice” will be conducted on Friday, May 17th at 3:00 PM. The public is cordially invited to attend and learn about sound environmental stewardship.
